Privacy Policy
SprayScribe helps lawn, tree and pest-control businesses keep pesticide application records and attach them to jobs in Jobber. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Account information: company name, the names and email addresses of users you invite, applicator names and license numbers, and your settings.
- Spray records: what you enter for each application, such as products, EPA registration numbers, rates, areas treated, target pests, weather, customer/property addresses, notes, label photos and the PDF records we generate.
- Jobber connection data: when you connect Jobber we receive OAuth access and refresh tokens. We store them encrypted (AES-GCM) and use them only to talk to Jobber for your account. We also store the Jobber IDs and details we need to match records to jobs: account, users, jobs, visits, clients and properties.
- Technical data: IP addresses and request metadata, used for security, abuse prevention and rate limiting, plus audit logs of actions taken in your account.
- Pilot sign-ups: if you join the pilot or waitlist, we keep the email and details you submit so we can contact you about it.
How we use Jobber data
We use Jobber data only to provide SprayScribe to you: looking up visits, jobs, clients and properties so we can prefill and match records, and adding each record to the related Jobber job as a note with the PDF attached. If you turn on custom fields, we also fill them on the job. We don't edit your other client or job details. We do not sell Jobber data, use it for advertising, or share it with other customers. SprayScribe is an independent app and is not made by or affiliated with Jobber.
Where data is stored
SprayScribe runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database, R2 file storage, Queues). Cloudflare processes data for us as our hosting provider. Jobber receives the data you choose to sync to it. When you type a property address, we send that address to the U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder (a free public government service) to suggest and standardize it. No other part of your record is sent. We have no other processors that receive your records.
Retention
Many states require pesticide application records to be kept for 2 years or more. For that reason, records stay in your account after you disconnect Jobber. Disconnecting deletes your Jobber tokens immediately. If you close your account, we delete or return your records on request, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Backups and logs expire on their normal schedule.
Your choices
You can export your records at any time. You can disconnect Jobber from SprayScribe Settings or from Jobber. Email us to access, correct or delete your data.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS, tokens are encrypted at rest, access is limited to each company's account, and support access is logged.
